1 in 4 women have been sexually abused before the age of eighteen.
20% of women and 4% of men have experienced some type of sexual assault since the age of 16.
Only 15% of serious sexual offences and 21% of partner abuse incidents are reported to the police.

What's included in my order?
Every Ashley Alarm purchase includes:
• Your Ashley Alarm
• A strong, solid, silver keychain
• Directions on how to use your alarm
How do I activate my Ashley Alarm?
• Give the pin on the top of the device a firm pull and face it toward your intended target.
• The Alarm will emit a piercing 130db siren and the LED light will flash.
• To stop the Alarm, replace the pin in the top of the device.
If you're testing your alarm, place a finger or thumb over the speaker on the back of the Alarm to save your ears.
How long will the alarm last?
Ashley will last for 2 years on standby. This is double the industry standard.
When activated the Alarm will emit both light and sound continuously for over an hour, reducing to just 108db after 1 hour.
We encourage you to regularly check your alarm to ensure it's still working effectively.
How do I replace the batteries in the Ashley Alarm 1?
To replace Ashley Personal Safety Alarm's batteriesis quick and painless:
• Twist the pin on the top of your alarm both ways to release the front and back
• Remove the two internal screws
• Replace the two CR2032 batteries
• Replace the two screws
• Snap the two sides of the alarm back together
How loud is 130 decibels?
130 dB is extremely loud and equivalent to:
- A jet take-off
- The loudest rock concert ever recorded
- The sound made by a jackhammer
How bright is 200-lumens?
More than bright enough to help disorientate a potential threat and give you vital seconds to evade an attack.

The alarm is small and light with a torch as an extra. I can hide it underneath my top but so it’s easy to reach if needed. The lanyard and alarm are brightly coloured too. I feel safe and more in control outside with my dog at night. Highly recommended x
Fortunately haven’t needed to use it yet but love the light, fact that it’s rechargeable and tried it out and boy, was it loud! Exactly what’s needed in an emergency/threatening situation!!
I bought this alarm due to a raise in dangerous dog attacks in our area recently and to use it as a deterrent in case of this situation araising again. Unfortunately it did and so thankful I had my Ashley alarm on me because it worked in stopping the offending dog before it could do any damage. It has also helped me feel so much more secure when it's dark so early, I feel much more confident to walk in the early or later hours. Thank you!

What a fantastic little tool for personal safety. I bought this for my niece who is going off to uni, it gives us all peace of mind that if she’s ever in a situation that she feels uncomfortable with she has something to use to gain a passer-by's attention. It’s also rechargeable, have a very strong strobe light which she can turn on if she needs a light. She also got the drinks cover scrunchy, lovely colour, soft and she can just put it on her wrist and use if she’s in a crowded place to keep her drink safe. Also the mystery box is well worth the purchase! Overall you won’t be disappointed in your purchase.
Good quality product , has a decent sound too it and the flashing light certainly draws attention. I tried it a couple of nights ago and it drew attention from people in the street, just what is needed .
I'm glad I decided to purchase this stylish bright coloured lanyard, it makes it even more convenient to carry the Ashley 2. It's great that it the clasp will break away if pulled, that's an important safety feature for something worn around the neck.
Since I've started walking to work, my Ashley 2 safety alarm has given me so much peace of mind. It come with a keychain, and I chose to add the lanyard too, which makes it super convientant to carry. The alarm is extremely loud, the colour is lovely, and I love that it has a built in torch. Plus, the USB charging is a Huge bonus - no having to stress about batteries running flat. Overall, it's exactly what I needed. Hopefully I won't be in a situation where I need to use it.
Great alarm, hopefully I will never need to use it but I definitely feel safer when out walking alone. I bought one of these for each of my female friends for Christmas and I think they will be as happy as I am. The only thing I would change is the box they came in as it's just plain black however that has nothing to do with how good the product is and I only say this as I bought as gifts. Thank you Ashley!

I carry Ashley alarm on my keys and have it in my hand whenever walking after dark. Very easy to use, great gadget to make you feel safer.
I ordered version one (dark blue) and really missed a button to control the light and I didn’t like the idea of it having a battery that needs to be replaced. Now version 2 is out and of course I would buy it (light blue with lanyard). I can control the light and it’s USB charged so I don’t have to chase batteries to replace. I tested them and both of them are really loud. Fortunately I never needed to deploy the alarm, but it’s nice to know that if something is to happen at least I have one change.

Myself and my mother got a 5 pack of alarms to share and we are so glad we did! The hot pink is nice and bright and the alarm is very loud and has the added bonus of a flashing light when activated. We luckily haven’t had to use them yet but we feel a lot safer having them. Thank you very much!

I’ve attached my “Ashley” to my jacket which I usually wear for allotment visits and walking out. It’s a just in case…..which i hopefully I won’t need to use, but knowing it’s there is a good enough reason to be safe as possible. This is the third “Ashley” I’ve purchased, the others as gifts.
So we live in a rural location and my daughters like to have freedom to go walks around our small village and up to nearby farms, which is daunting for me as a mother, also they like to meet friends in the nearest town which leaves me in silent anxiety. I don’t want to steal their innocence and love of freedom, but I also want to keep them safe! With Ashley we found a way to give them their freedom and me less anxiety, when pulled the device is piercingly and painfully loud!! Like so soooo loud, and the strobing/flashing torch light is super bright…. Nobody is going to want to stick around So when they go out they come and ask for Ashley, in her sleek black design, which is harder to see if thrown in grass than the other colours, and I relax knowing that they’re offered a bit more protection against the bad guys out there … thank you

Nothing personally happened but resently there have been a few incidents in our local Nature Reserve which prompted my purchase to protect my family.
I bought the alarm for my daughter who has a dog walking business. Delivery was super fast and my daughter said the quality of the item is superb. It is very well put together and looks the business. I bought this personal alarm for my part time dog walking business. It’s fantastic, clips onto my bag, looks great and acts as a visual deterrent too as the colour is bright! Attractive and good size for slipping in pocket for morning run or on keyring but not as loud as I expected, I am not convinced the sound would travel far eg in woodland.
My daughter has received her second alarm and is happy I ordered this lanyard for easy use, and she won’t drop it this time. 😊 Great products - thanks again

Amazing product. This is my second time to purchase from Ashley and I couldn’t highly recommend them enough. I instantly feel safer walking around with Ashley around my neck or in my pocket. Incredible product and the key ring and lanyard is also an amazing product.
I haven’t yet handed the other 4 out yet, so I tried my Ashley out by pulling out the handle. If that doesn’t scare any would be attacker off, I don’t know what would. Oh my it was LOUD!!
